FORE!

I haven't 'scrapbooked' a card in ages....a few of my co-workers needed some golf cards so I decided to use an idea a friend in my stamp club used. She tore her paper but I decided to use mini scalloped scissors on mine, a trick I recently saw on a website. I forgot to paint a white ball on the green so I'll do that before I give them to the 'customer'! Enjoy!

Shop, Eat, Laugh, REPEAT!

Well, I went to my first stamping convention in Greenville, SC this weekend. Boy did I spend money and have a great time with a great bunch of ladies! We laughed a lot, we ate a lot more, and we shopped our brains out on Friday, then we did it again on Saturday AND Sunday! Above are my highlights and to the left is an album of all of my friends and our adventures! I bought 54 misc and 41 holiday stamps and some cards and paper and misc embellishments! I'm OUT OF CONTROL! I haven't even added up the receipts! I also visited Hobby Lobby for the first time so that was a treat. I even made a card at the convention that looks cream in real life but the scanner wouldn't cooperate! Enjoy the pictures!

More Cards!

I've been a card fool this weekend...Saturday was Stamp Club and I stayed inside today (out of the 100 + degree weather) to create stuff! Here are some new goodies!

Double Snuggle

My friend, Lisa Black, had twins last year. Her husband served with my husband in Iraq. She and I became friends and she still sends me the greatest pictures of her adorable kids! I asked her to send me this picture of the twins as it's just about HILARIOUS! I just got around to scrappin' it today. Aren't they cute? No, he's not blinking....he's really asleep! Boy/man layouts are so hard to do....I have to keep myselft from frillying them up! This is only the second subject I've scrapped for our 2006 book. I'm so far behind. Thank goodness for D-ring scrapbooks!

Misc Cards

Here are a few cards I've completed (I made them at Stamp Club but didn't finish them until I got home). Pirate card is for George's dad (got hurt on his motorcycle), Frog card is for my HUNNY, and Thank You card is for a family friend that went with my mom to her doctor's appointment in Savannah yesterday.

Co-Workers Rock!

It's been a world of staffing changes at work since January...I have had a lot of co-workers to pitch in and help me while I was looking for the right person to come and join us. Here's what I gave them to thank them for all their help. I also made them a thank you card each containing their favorite color and the initial "T" for thanks. Thanks girls!

New Stamp/Card

I so adore this crab! I even bought a party hat the other day that I hope will fit cattywampus on his head for birthday cards! For those that stamp, this is a Gina K stamp.

My NEXT Cousin's Wedding!

My cousin, James, got married this weekend. This is the second of 3 cousins to get married this year! The wedding was very nice but I never seemed to be at the right place at the right time as far as photo ops go! My cousin, Amanda, gave me some of her pictures. Enjoy!

Gift Bag

My hairdresser, Kristal, is the BEST! She reminded me that I haven't baked anything in so long, so while I was off yesterday, I baked her some peanut butter cookies. I had just bought a cookie stamp this past weekend so I made her a little bag for her loot!

Weekend Getaway!

We finally got some rest and relaxation this weekend. We went to Disney, to see Tom's family, and back to Disney. We didn't take the camera out every second...ok, I didn't take the camera out every second, but here are a few pictures of the weekend!

Wedding Bells!

I'M SCRAPBOOKING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! My cousin, Jillian, got married May 5. This is my father's brother's daughter's daughter (my second cousin). I am such a photo freak....I can't help it. I took so many pictures that I decided to do a collage layout. I don't like crooked things much so I did it more like a puzzle.
